Our Rav

Rabbi Yosef Kaiser has been the Rov of Kehilas Zichron Yaakov since 2022.

Rabbi Kaiser grew up in Toronto and has learned in Long Beach, Mir Yerushalayim, BMG, Brisker Kollel, and Kollel Lomdei Shas of Monsey.

Rabbi Kaiser is currently first seder Rosh Kollel at Kollel Shaarei Halacha (Chestnut Ridge), second seder Shoel U’meishiv at Yeshivas Kesser Torah (Rabbi Fishman’s, Monsey), and Maggid Shiur in Young Israel of New Rochelle in Gemara, halachah, and hashkafa.

Rabbi Kaiser earned semicha from BMG (Hilchos Shabbos, Hilchos Basar Bechalav, Hilchos Niddah, and Hilchos Mikvaos), and from Harav Hagaon Rav A.H. Wosner, Av Bais Din of Satmar in Monsey (Hilchos Niddah). He has extensive training in practical p’sak on a broad variety of halachic topics from well-known rabbonim, including Rav Yosef Veiner (Wesley Hills), Rav Wosner (Monsey), Rav Shlomo Fisher (Yerushalayim), and Rav Mattisyahu Deutsch (Yerushalayim). In addition, Rabbi Kaiser is a noted mechaber seforim.
